Terms
The following are the Terms and Conditions of sale of products through the website of Trek Plus (C.I.) Ltd., Jersey, Channel Islands, trading as Trek Plus, of 6a Colomberie, St. Helier, Jersey. JE2 4QB.

PAYMENT

Once you have selected your product/s please proceed to the check-out. We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Electron). You can pay securely online via WorldPay (a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland). All cards used in another currency will be converted at the sterling rate of the day.

Should you prefer not to give your card details online you may contact us by telephone or fax. on +44(0)1534-878549 between 9am and 5pm(Monday to Saturday) with your order and payment details. Alternatively, send order details with a cheque (sterling only) to the address on our Contacts Page.

Please Note. Orders placed with a cheque payment will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared.

DELIVERY

Subject to stock availability, we aim to dispatch your order by the end of the next working day. In the majority of cases orders placed before 1pm will be dispatched on the same day. Should any items be out of stock we will notify you of an estimated delivery time and you will be given the option of cancelling your order if the delay is not acceptable to you.

CHARGES FOR DELIVERY

In an attempt to make our carriage charges fair we have absorbed part of the costs and have only passed on a percentage of the total cariage charge to the customer.

Carriage charges are calculated on the total weight of the parcel.

Any parcel that exceeds the weight chart above is negotiable. We will contact the telephone number or e-mail address registered with the order if that is the case.

RETURNS

We want you to happy with your purchase. However if you are unhappy with the item or you wish to have another size, colour or a different product altogether from the one originally purchased we will be happy to issue a credit note or an immediate exchange within 14 days of receipt.

Goods must be returned in original packaging and a re-saleable condition. You will be responsible for the postage charge when returning the goods to us and we recommend that the recorded delivery method is used. If a new product or different size/colour to the original purchase is sent back to you we will charge you the carriage to dispatch it to your postal address.

When sending back returned goods you must fill in the Returns Form sent with the purchase with a full description of the reason for the return and the requested action that you wish us to take.

FAULTY GOODS

The products and Companies that we stock have been selected for their quality. In the unlikely event of receiving faulty goods please notify us within 24 hours of receipt. You will be given the option of receiving a replacement at no extra postage cost to you, or a full refund. A replacement will only be dispatched upon receipt of the alleged faulty item from yourself. If on return to us the goods are found not in fact to be faulty, the orignal goods will be returned to you and the appropriate carriage charged.

When sending back goods that you have deemed to be faulty you must fill in the Returns Form sent with the purchase with a description of the fault and the requested action that you wish us to take.

If any goods become faulty during the product-guarantee period, this may vary from product to product and Company to Company (refer to the tickets attached to the purchased item), then we are duty bound by the Company issuing the guarantee to assist the customer in any way we can. This may neccesitate the sending of the item back to the Company involved for their expert assessment and testing prior to resolving the problem with the customer. If the item, having been assessed and tested by the Company issuing the guarantee, is deemed to not be faulty then the item with be returned to you and any carriage costs incurred by Trek Plus will be passed on to the customer.

It is important to state that any items being sent for assessment and testing through the post have to be clean and dry otherwise the parcel will be immediately returned to the sender with no action being taken. This is to comply with UK health and safety regulations. We do not have the facilities at the shop to clean and dry products.

PRICES 

All the prices on the website were correct when going to press however Trek Plus reserve the right to amend these prices at any time without warning.

All prices on our website are without UK VAT as we are VAT-exempt in the Channel Islands. However, while we do not charge the tax we have no control over the authorities from the countries where the parcels are being sent and therefore cannot be responsible should they tax you upon importation of any items originating from Jersey.  UK VAT collectors appear to charge an administration fee as well as the VAT if your parcel is intercepted by UK Customs & Excise. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of outside jurisdictions.
