Engineered with the most demanding conditions and adventurous wearers in mind, the 2-layer Gore-Tex® shell contributes total waterproof protection while remaining rugged enough to shake off abrasions, while a mesh and taffeta lining enhances inner ventilation to keep you fresh and dry. Zip-in compatible, the jacket can be worn as a top layer when temperatures start to plummet, or by itself, with the hood adjusted, removed or stowed in the collar as required, in milder conditions. Alpine and hand pockets meanwhile provide storage for essentials like maps and a compass.

Gore-Tex® Performance Shells are designed to provide superior comfort and durable waterproof protection in a wide range of outdoor activities. The Gore-Tex® revolutionary patented membrane technology is specifically engineered to form an impenetrable barrier against wind and water while maintaining breathability. Gore-Tex® Performance Shell fabric is used in a two-layer construction for a lighter and softer feel, and in three-layer construction for a more heavy-duty alternative.
