Receipts showing tax
Customer receipts that accompany goods bought outside of Jersey will show a 3% VAT charge (this is a Goods and Services Tax charged in Jersey).
We have absorbed this tax for our local clientele and it is not levied on customers outside Jersey. Although this is shown on your receipt it has not been charged. This is purely for administration purposes.
PLEASE NOTE: The Channel Islands are considered a separate entity and NOT part of the United Kingdom in this transaction.
